15 Wing to conduct night training this weekend in Regina

January 30, 2026 – Moose Jaw, Sask. – National Defence/Canadian Armed Forces

2 Canadian Forces Flight Training School from 15 Wing Moose Jaw will be conducting night flying training in the vicinity of Regina International Airport over the weekend.

Training will typically consist of evening flights until approximately midnight. Flights are conducted with the CT-156 Harvard II, an advanced -turboprop training aircraft. Night flying is an essential component for military pilot training, and its helps student pilots to develop their flying proficiencies. 15 Wing endeavours to be respectful and mindful of communities and will take measures to minimize the potential noise impact.

All RCAF aircraft flying operations are carefully planned and closely controlled for public safety and are dependent on weather and flying conditions.
