Flights, Baggage, & Airline Information
Where is my lost luggage? When will it arrive? Why haven't I gotten an update on my claim?
The Regina Airport Authority does not have access to any information from the airlines regarding baggage claims, locations, or status.
Please reach out to your airline directly or check the status of your claim on their website.
Can I purchase airline tickets at YQR?
Yes, you can purchase tickets from the check-in counters for all operating airlines.
NOTE: CASH PAYMENTS NOT ACCEPTED. DEBIT OR CREDIT ONLY!
Why was my flight delayed/cancelled? Can I get a refund?
The Regina Airport Authority does not have specific flight information beyond what is provided by the airlines. Ensure your notifications are turned on and communication methods up to date to receive timely updates on your flight status.
Review the Air Passenger Protection Regulations to know your rights and contact your airline directly to file a claim.
Why did it take so long to de-ice the plane? Who is responsible for this?
Ground handling services including de-icing and baggage are the responsibility of the airline or their contractors. The Regina Airport Authority is responsible for keeping the runways safe and operational.
Please get in touch with your airline regarding any concerns surrounding de-icing, wait times, or other flight related issues.
When can I check-in for my flight? Do you have self-serve options? Can I check-in online?
All airlines at YQR offer online check-in 24 hours prior to your scheduled departure time. Upon arriving to the airport, you can check-in at our self-serve kiosks or at the airline counter 2 hours prior to departure.

Our courtesy ride service operates during peak travel months to and from our Overflow Parking Lot.
Please contact our Parking Ambassadors to request a ride.
YQR COURTESY RIDE IS NOT CURRENTLY ACTIVE.
Can I make a parking reservation?
No, currently YQR does not offer parking reservation services.
Safety & Security
Can I bring ____ through security? In my checked luggage?
We recommend you use CATSA’s online search to determine if/how you may safely transport your item.
My item was confiscated during pre-board screening, can I have it back?
YQR is proud to be the first airport in Canada to offer Flippit! This service allows you to mail items back to yourself for a flat rate that would otherwise need to be surrendered at the security screening checkpoint. Learn more here.
However, if the item has already been surrendered to CATSA at the screening checkpoint, it is not likely recoverable as most items are unable to be transferred to lost and found. If you’d like to check if your item is being held, you can contact our Lost & Found.
I lost my ______, do you have it? Where can I pick it up?
If your item was lost on an aircraft, please contact your airline.
For items lost within the YQR Terminal Building, you can contact our Pass Control office by calling 306-761-7583. If the item has been located, you can arrange to pick it up or use our brand new service Flippit to mail your item back to yourself for a flat rate anywhere in Canada. Learn more about Flippit here.
Regina Airport Authority
Regina Airport Security is able to provide passenger assistance from the terminal curbside to the check-in counter or from our information desk to the curb. Please ensure you have communicated with your airline regarding accessibility requests for your flight.

Can you please stop planes from being so loud?
We monitor aircraft noise and ensure operations in and out of YQR are compliant with Canadian Aviation Regulations. If you’d like to submit an inquiry, you can fill out our online form.
Absolutely! Pets are more than welcome at YQR as long as they are kept under control. We have pet relief stations in our post-security hold room and at our curbside. For travelling with pets, we encourage you to contact your airline directly regarding their policies and procedures.
I noticed something broken/something suspicious, can you fix it?
Please report any safety or security concerns to the YQR Security Operations Centre through our online form or by calling 306-761-7550.
