Can’t Take it with You? Flippit Saves Your Stuff at YQR!
YQR Regina International Airport is the first airport in Canada to offer this quick and convenient service which allows passengers to ship non-permitted items to themselves rather than surrendering them at the CATSA security screening checkpoint. This service is also available for lost & found items recovered from the terminal building (Flippit is not available for lost passports).
How Flippit Works
Located to the right of the entry into the CATSA screening checkpoint, Flippit requires no app downloads, no logins or passwords, and no paperwork.
- Drop: Grab a padded Flippit Bubble Pouch, insert the item, tear off the receipt stub, then seal and drop the pouch into the secure Flippit Dropbox.
- Scan & Pay: At your convenience after clearing security, use a smartphone to scan the QR code on your receipt. Here you’ll enter your shipping address and payment details.
- Ship: Your item will be inspected, repacked, and on its way to you with tracking and text alerts, if you opt in.
Flippit accepts mobile payment methods (Apple Pay, Google Pay) as well as most major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Discover).
Pricing and Additional Information
For a fee of $38 CAD plus applicable sales tax, Flippit covers standard shipping (7–10 business days delivery within Canada) for any item that fits inside the standard Flippit Bubble Pouch. Every shipment includes $100 CAD in standard insurance protection and full tracking (additional insurance can be purchased during payment at the passengers discretion). For larger items, an oversized pouch may be used for a fee of $84 CAD plus applicable sales tax with the same protections and shipping timelines.
