Safety & Security

We recommend you use CATSA’s online search to determine if/how you may safely transport your item.

YQR is proud to be the first airport in Canada to offer Flippit! This service allows you to mail items back to yourself for a flat rate that would otherwise need to be surrendered at the security screening checkpoint. Learn more here.

However, if the item has already been surrendered to CATSA at the screening checkpoint, it is not likely recoverable as most items are unable to be transferred to lost and found. If you’d like to check if your item is being held, you can contact our Lost & Found.

If your item was lost on an aircraft, please contact your airline.

For items lost within the YQR Terminal Building, you can contact our Pass Control office by calling 306-761-7583. If the item has been located, you can arrange to pick it up or use our brand new service Flippit to mail your item back to yourself for a flat rate anywhere in Canada. Learn more about Flippit here.
