Application for Restricted Area Clearance

These instructions are a guideline to help you correctly fill out the attached transportation clearance form. Anything missed on the application will result in a delay in your clearance. STEP 1: Complete Transport Canada Security Clearance Application

Complete the online application for Transport Canada security clearance, submit it online, and bring your printed application to your appointment in Step 2.

Only an online printed application will be accepted. A written application is not acceptable.

STEP 2: Book Appointment for Validation of Documents & Biometrics Collection

Once you have completed your application, you must book an appointment with our Pass Control Office to bring in your printed application, documentation, and setup your security access.

ORIGINALS of the following document MUST be presented to the Pass Control Officer at the time of application. Copies are not acceptable. The Pass office will not retain the original document; they will be copied at the Pass Control Office and returned to the applicant.

  1. PERSONS BORN IN CANADA: Birth Certificate and Passport {If they hold one), if not photo ID (Driver license).
  2. NATURALIZED CANADIAN CITIZENS: Certificate of Canadian Citizenship, Canadian Passport
  3. LANDED IMMIGRANTS: Immigrant Visa, Record of Landing or Permanent Card, Passport
  4. MINORS: In addition to the documentation above, applicants who have not reached the age of majority must present a completed “Annex to Application for Transportation Clearance” that has been completed by their parent or legal guardian.
  5. FINGERPRINTS AND PICTURE will be taken at the time of application being entered into “Live Scan”

Bring all of the documentation required with you to the Pass Control Office at Regina International Airport in person. This all will take about 30 minutes of your time.

The Pass Control Office is located at the south end on the main floor of the terminal.
